A place of rest and recovery for Ministers and Missionaries in the Churches of Christ

The physical and spiritual needs that arise from temporary transitional situations for full-time ministers and missionaries are difficult to cope with, both for the families in transition and for friends and family who love them and wish to help. The answers do not come easily. There is a group of people who feel the need to help this delicate situation within the Churches of Christ. That is the purpose for the Haven of Ministers & Missionaries. HOMM (pronounced “home”) is a non-profit corporation designed to bring physical and spiritual support to families’ dependant upon the Church who find themselves in a transition period.

HOMM exists to acquire property, build facilities which will provide temporary housing, provide programs, family counseling, employment advise, etc. to meet the needs of these families. We wish to preserve the zeal and spirit of these families and help them to be ready for their next area of service for our Lord.

We wish for all full-time church workers to “preach the Word”, “Fill the need”, “Do the work” of the Lord and know that they always have a “HOMM” to support them!
